(from Tom)

I'm going to sweeten the pot a little bit.

Everyone in the AOC that volunteers this Sunday, will get credit towards a 50% off a helmet rental next time they go caving with me, Tony T, or Jason K. This includes anyone that has already signed up to volunteer. This also includes Tom, Dusty, & Woody since they did a fund raiser already ($1600!).
If you bring a non-AOC person to help, you'll earn extra credits toward helmet rentals for yourself.

I know this isn't a lot, but I hope it will sway a few of you still on the fence.

So, come on, just give them 3 hours of your time Sunday morning.

Tom Collins

Hey guys,
As many of you know, the AOC is trying to help out Camp Twin Lakes in their fund raising efforts. We have an official AOC team running in the ING race this Sunday. We also have several members volunteering at the mile 5 water station.
If you don't have plans on Sunday, please consider helping out with just a little bit of your time. They still need quite a few volunteers. It's a great charity that helps kids with medical problems attend camp. It's also your chance to support the AOC running team that has raised over $1600 so far.
Just follow the instructions below to sign up and then let me know when your registered. We'll be arranging carpools if you want.

THANKS!

Tom Collins
President, AOC

P.S. Everyone is welcome, so feel free to pass this along to your friends.

Hello all Run for Kids runners,

We need a little help finding volunteers to help at our Camp Twin Lakes water station on mile 5- very early on the course. We are required to have AT LEAST 50 volunteers at our station. As of this morning, we have 23. Please email your family or friends to come and help Camp Twin Lakes while cheering you on during the race!

We will all be decked out in our cutest (most appropriate) pajamas, competing for the $2500 Hydration Station Challenge prize! Every volunteer will receive an ING Marathon t-shirt, volunteer pin, and goodie bag. PS – Don’t forget to vote for Camp Twin Lakes after you finish the race!

Here’s the deal:

In the drop-down box, select “Hydration Station #05- Camp Twin Lakes”
