For those of you not looking to run or mtn bike, I'd suggest a nearby morning hike and then heading over to see the Rangers. The races begin early and the awards ceremony concludes around 10:15.
Then the excitement begins! Witness and reflect upon the sacrifices of our volunteer army and then see them in action. You've seen a kite with bows tied on the tail, but have you seen 10 guys hooked-up and lifted 500' in the air? Pretty amazing!
The demo is something to see. Check out the site above for pictures.
1030 - Fallen Ranger Memorial Dedication
1200 - Rangers In Action Demo (Airfield)
It is free, and they have burgers and dogs, etc.
