Hey folks. It's that time again. Softball season is upon us and like usual I'm looking for players. Here's the deal.

I've been playing for a while and I'm already on a couple of teams. But I'm starting a new team which will be really casual. I'm talking mostly newbie players, folks who are just starting out, or folks who haven't played in a long time. If you're serious about softball then I can help find another team for you but this isn't the one.

Play starts in mid-March. We're going to join a league in Marietta, which may be far for some, but they allow beer and they are much less expensive. We'll choose which night to join according to everyone's schedule. It can be Mon-Thurs. Times vary according to the schedule but they are usually around 7:00 (start) - 10:00 (finish).

will this casual softball league play the game similarly to sloshball?

Sloshball? I don't know what that is. Is it you are sloshed as you play? If so then yes that's pretty much the plan. I'm choosing a league based on whether it allows beer or not. It's going to be nowhere nearly as serious as flag football, which you would have thought was for the world championship.
