got some last minute questions about tomorrow's event? want to post about how much fun you had after tomorrow's event? do it here!
eventually there will be something witty here, but, for now, just pretend that one of the most clever and/or amusing things you've ever read is written here instead of this.

Renting camo

Postby chanachana on Fri Feb 15, 2008 2:39 pm

can we rent camo/jumpsuit clothing there? this is my first time ever paintballing but that is what my friends have recommended to me.

goodwill hunting

Go to goodwill, they often have camo stuff on their racks... And it's pretty cheap too.

a painter's jumpsuit might be a good idea, but you'd probably be better off just using some "ratty" old clothing. below is an aerial photo of the paintball fields, and, as you can see, there isn't really a need for camo at this particular field. consider bringing cleats if you've got them though.

i'll be in full length camo pants (they're mostly for running around in the dirt) or full length jogging pants with a short-sleeved t-shirt (and long-sleeved one in a bag just in case i get cold).

don't stress too much about clothing though. just remember that if a paintball hits bare skin it tends to sting more than if it hits a covered part of your body.

There is a WalMart off that exit, immediately on your left.

Also, a decent BBQ place is nearby, where I plan to go after shooting Tom

i hope everyone on the trip had themselves a terrific time. i know i did, and it was great meeting some new folks, too.

and, since we're now past the painful part, take a look at Rate My Welt: http://www.ratemywelt.net/

and if you've got any good ones, feel free to share the pictures.

That was a really great place to play.
The town field was a lot of fun.

Thanks for putting this one together!

I voted for you Jenn. Got a link to yours Denise?

Sadly, I've been a slug the past three months and running around for seven hours killed me. I could barely walk on Sunday and Monday.

I'm just now able to bend over without feeling my thighs telling me NO, NO, NO.

Loads of fun!
