That does sound really cool! Anyone up for Martinis and IMAX? We haven't done that in awhile...

It is very cool. I saw it when it first came out. It's in 3 parts showing off 3 different types of caves. A friend of mine, right here in Atlanta, is the trip leader for the ice cave.

I saw the IMAX film on the Alps a couple of months ago...really breathtaking. The other one that stuck in my mind was one on the Grand Canyon.

It's impossible to capture the feeling of the Great Outdoors on film, but IMAX comes kinda close at times.

Hey - I think I'm going to post an evite in the next couple of days for this movie, probably for Martinis and IMAX on the 29th. Watch for it!

Just in case I missed anyone on the e-vite, a bunch of us are going to Martinis and IMAX at Fernbank to see this movie on Friday, Feb 29. They don't have the times posted yet, but we will probably see the latest showing. The bar opens at 5:30 and I'll probably get there around 6ish - hope to see everyone there!

Movie times are now posted for the Imax Journey to Amazing Caves on Friday Feb. 29th... 6 pm and 8 pm.. Tickets are $15 dollars .

I've already bought my tickets for the 8 pm show over the phone. They charge you an extra .75 cent per ticket to do that, but I didn't want to take chances that it might be sold out when I got there.
