New Member to the Forums, Short Introduction.

Hi! My name is Charles. I live in Montgomery, AL. I have been a backpacker for almost 13 years. My love for the outdoors started when I was a young chap in the Boy scouts. However in the past few years I have rarely made my way into the wilderness, much to my dismay. Life got busier as I got older and none of my friends are into the outdoors like I am.

I have recently felt that something is missing from my life and the outdoors and backpacking is the missing piece! It seems like your organization is very active. I hope to start getting involved and making trips very soon!

Maybe the forum should have a section for introductions?

i've been lax in visiting the forum (or doing much of anything) recently, but there will be an area for that in the future. there are a few changes i plan to discuss with Ben as far as different areas of the forum.

stay tuned!
eventually there will be something witty here, but, for now, just pretend that one of the most clever and/or amusing things you've ever read is written here instead of this.
